Expert in Drupal 9 Site Building

Hello everybody! My name is Jordi and I have taken this drupal course to improve my skills as a drupal developer and my experience with the Drupal 9 Site Building course has been good.

I had previously worked with drupal 7, but had not touched as many modules as in the course. The course teaches you very well all the functions that you can do with drupal with a guideline and exercises that you do little by little with a very complete pdf. Fran solves any doubt and tries to help you in the best way through comments that you can make in the forum. 

My experience with the Drupal site building books has been good.
It is an easy to understand book because they explain it well, maybe in several chapters it is a bit heavy, but in general it is well explained.
The activities are good, there are a variety of activities from which you learn a lot, although there are some that become repetitive, but overall good, without many problems.
The tutors have always been there to solve problems, and they are very helpful.
 

I have just started with the Drupal master. I have started with the Site Building part and I find it a very complete course. It has helped me to have a much more complete vision of what things can be done with Drupal from the site building part.  It has been an experience that I recommend to all those who want to get started in Drupal or who already have previous experience. But, it is true that it requires time and dedication.

Although I got stuck with some activities, it has been very helpful to have the support of the tutor (Fran) who quickly solved my doubts. 

I liked the course for several reasons that I will list below.

-The tasks of the course I think are very successful, well guided and rising level for each step that is given. Being the robot the one who corrects the tasks gives the opportunity to be able to do the course when it seems best to us (very important if you are also working).

-The site building course has given me a little more general vision, since by my studies every time I have had to do something of this type, I have always gone to program code. Now I know that many things can be done without programming.

I liked to have done this Site Building part of the Master, because I think it is necessary to understand the paradigm shift of Drupal 9.

From the programmer's point of view you can see how different tasks can be done in different ways and without having to chop code.

Mainly it has helped me a lot to use the composer console tool to download and install the modules later with drush.

A very complete course, from zero to advanced level, very happy to have done this course.

The course is practical, from unit 1 to the last one, we are doing all the tasks... I made me a cheat sheet of important modules to use in my future projects. I am really looking forward to start module 2 of the master.

A few years ago I had started the course with Drupal 8, at that time my knowledge was 0 ... it was a very good introduction but I did not complete it 100% ... now I took it again, I have finally completed it and I have strengthened my knowledge.

After the positive experience with Forcontu in previous versions of Drupal, I had no hesitation in updating my knowledge to the new version.

The course content is very complete and allows you to know the full potential of this CMS, plus the monitoring and tutoring of the activities is excellent.

I have never been a big fan of content management systems, but now that I know Drupal 9, I find it very complete, perfect for creating web pages without programming knowledge. The servers have given problems a couple of times during the course but nothing that they did not solve in 20 minutes. As for the tutor, very friendly and professional, willing to help students in the course, attentive to the needs of each one.

In my case I start from scratch with Drupal, since my knowledge of the CMS was null before starting the course. Drupal is quite dense and I think a guide like this is necessary to discover all the options it offers.

Some previous computer knowledge is required, such as how to use the command console or how to connect via FTP.

The course includes a very extensive manual with documentation that is difficult to find otherwise. Most of the exercises are guided step-by-step, although there are also some where you have to figure out how to solve them yourself. 

I have never liked content management systems too much. I came for the needs of the project and some of the topics were very long (I think that in some points there are too many exercises or very long exercises).

However, this course has made me very interested in the power of Drupal and its usefulness in different types of business. Besides, I came out knowing a lot, or at least I think so. It is well guided and is done without problems, since you manage your time as you want. In general, you learn a lot. This course is really worth taking.
