A Drupalling I will go with Forcontu
tnorman | Drupal 7 | Expert in Drupal 7
06 July, 2015 My experience with Drupal started a few years ago when version 5 came out. At the time I was a newspaper/magazine photographer and was looking to branch out into freelance photograpy and knew I wanted a Content Managagement System to help keep my website up to date with new content. I explored several of CMS's including Joomla and WordPress, but eventually settled on Drupal because of the community. WordPress was popular for photographers, but I thought I would want to have more flexibility. My first Drupal website was Drupal version 5.0. And then I started fresh with Drupal 6 when it came out a couple years later. The last build of the freelance photographer site at http://www.timnormanphoto.com was for version 6. I delved decently deep into Drupal 6 and wrote some small modules to help with the site. Nothing fancy though. With so many photographers out of work and finding new jobs, I thought it might be a good idea to start in a new career as I could see my friends losing jobs and finding new careers.I've enjoyed Drupal and the Drupal community, so a Drupalling I would go. The beginner and intermediate sections for learning Drupal 7 with Forcontu have been interesting. I've never taken an online course like this, but I thought it would help learn the differences between Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 as well as get my feet back into Drupal developing. Much of Drupal 7 is the same or similar to Drupal 6. The advance section for the course, which is coming up, will be where I'm going to enjoy sinking my teeth into. The overall experience has been challenging at times in juggling outside work and life while continuing with course work. You set your own schedule and pace which helps with how fast you are learning or how much you may already know. The moderator/teacher has been wonderfully helpful and forgiving when late nights on my job lead to sleepy nights while going thru the course work. I have learned about modules and sections of Drupal 7 that I didn't have experience with nor knew about. It is an educational course, and I've enjoyed the work. I'm about to start on the next section, the advance section, and that should provide a whole new challenge and learning level. The knowledge I learn in this course should help me rebuild my current site and hopefully give me a basis to start a career as a junior Drupal developer. If you know of someone looking for some extra help on a site or a job opening, please let me know. |
Front Course
lrubioHiberus | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
19 December, 2025 The course is easy to follow and covers the essentials for getting started in frontend development. From the initial configuration of the environment, through the creation of components and their correct structuring, to the integration and adjustment of libraries according to the needs of the project. As for the book, it is quite comprehensive and well organized, although at times the explanations can be a bit dense, either because of the way they are written or because of a certain... A very good course to introduce you to site building.
iairala | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building
19 December, 2025 I found the course, along with the manual, to be very comprehensive, as it covers everything from installing Drupal to creating and configuring content and other sections of the site, as well as the use of some very interesting modules. It was quite easy to follow and, in general, I found the activities to be very useful. Even so, I think some points that are a little outdated in the examples should be updated, as this has sometimes been a little confusing. Although at times I had to... [read more] |
My experience with the Drupal 10 Frontend course
manuelst4 | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
17 December, 2025 This is the second course I've taken with Forcontu. First, I did Site Building, and now Frontend. I have been working with Drupal since I finished my studies, and these courses have been key to reinforcing and structuring everything I have learned on my own over the years. It has also allowed me to discover new tools, features, and approaches that I did not know about, and which have now become a valuable addition to apply in future projects. The course methodology, together with the... [read more] |

15 December, 2025 Very good course. It has helped me create new features and gain a deeper understanding of how Drupal works at the content level. The course is very well explained and structured, making it easy to follow and enjoyable even when dealing with more advanced concepts. It also covers all the important aspects needed to begin to understand how Drupal works, from content creation and management to more practical day-to-day aspects. Although some parts are a little out of date, especially in... [read more] |
A course with interesting content
posit | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Back-End
14 December, 2025 This course has helped me develop new skills in my work and has taught me a great deal. The tutor was perfect, correcting and answering questions on weekends and holidays. The only thing that surprised me was that there were no video conference tutorials, as I think there was a bit of a lack of human contact, but it wasn't really necessary as the course, being done this way, gave me complete freedom to go at my own pace. The material in the book was perfect, and they taught... [read more] |
Front-end course
OskarCalvoVidal | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Site Building
10 December, 2025 Very good course, great for anyone who wants to start from scratch with the front end, as well as those who want to refine the knowledge they acquired in previous versions of Drupal. The course starts with the basics of Drupal front-end development, CSS, HTML, Twig templates, then Drupal subthemes, Sass, SCSS, Grump, Gulp, etc., and ends with decoupling using both the REST module and the JSON API module. For the front-end part, there is a very interesting introduction to Vuejs. ... [read more] |

From initial installation, through the creation of content types and their correct configuration, to the incorporation and adjustment of the necessary modules according to each need. Good Drupal 10 Front-end course
ajfernandez85 | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
07 December, 2025 I think this is a very good course on Front-end Development in Drupal 10. It is very well explained and structured, easy to understand, and includes very educational and illustrative examples. If I had to find a fault, I would say that it could be a little more up to date, as some topics use versions of libraries and frameworks that are now deprecated or no longer in use. Perhaps I would have liked it to go a little deeper into SDC components and also a little more into the decoupled... [read more] |
Experience in the Drupal 10 Front-end Course
ampicon | Drupal 10 | Expert in Drupal 10 Front-End
02 December, 2025 I thought the course was very good and very comprehensive. I had previously taken the Backend course, so I was particularly interested in continuing my training in Front-End. I have been working with Drupal for over 10 years, mainly in the backend area, and even so, I found this course very useful for reinforcing concepts, better understanding the structure of the theme, the use of libraries, and the integration of JavaScript with Drupal. It also gave me a much more comprehensive view of... [read more] |

29 November, 2025 The course is easy to follow and covers all the important aspects needed to begin understanding how Drupal works, from installing Drupal to creating content types and configuring them, as well as implementing the necessary modules. As for the book, although it is very comprehensive and easy to follow, the explanations can sometimes be complicated, either because of how they are explained or because of a lack of depth in some explanations. The assignments provided are in line with the... [read more] |
